Sometimes life throws you a curve. You find a direction that looks like the right one. You roll merrily along feeling like you know who you are. You tell yourself that you are sure of what you feel, where you are going and how right you are in your convictions. Then all of a sudden, BAM! No warning, no road signs, just one big huge undeniable curve thrown smack dab in the middle of your path. You stop for a moment, not sure whether or not you should continue to travel. You cross your fingers and step on the gas.
Sometimes the curve seems scary, but you follow it anyway, usually because it looks good and the roadside sites stir feelings inside of you. You find yourself, in the middle of the curve, smiling because the sunshine is finally warming you again and the air smells sweet. This is a welcome, happy change because the weather has been dry and pretty dreary lately.
"You find yourself" ... Interesting choice of words. The search continues for me, but I am really digging the curve I have found myself on. It's new, it's fun, it makes me smile on a daily, no wait, hourly basis. I'm not quite sure if the curve is going to end well or not, but I am going to try not to over analyze and just take it as a gift. I am gonna kick back, turn my face up to the sun and just enjoy the ride.
