Like I said though, school is going great. I had my first quiz last night and I totally ACED that sucker. It felt good to do well.
Also, I spent my first evening in the cadaver lab. It was SOOO wild. I saw six different layers of muscle on a human back. I also SAW a spinal cord. The INSIDE of one. I mean, how many people can say that!! It was sooo cool to see the body and how it all interacts and how it is put together. I did see a few nasty things too. It really makes you reevaluate what you eat and how well you take care of your body.
The whole family is lining up for me to practice massage techniques on them. I will DEFINITELY need help with the practicing part, so if anyone would like to volunteer over the next few weeks, please do. Some of you have no choice, I will be pampering you whether you ask me to or not.
The time commitment for school is really intense. It isn't the curriculum I am having a hard time with, it is how much time it takes. Well, I have to keep going and studying. Throw out encouragements to me whenever you think of it. I get bogged down sometimes thinking I can't handle it. So, if you're reading this, drop me a line, tell me I'm great, tell me how intelligent I am. Sometimes I forget this and could really use the boost. Love ya all.
